About the Journal

Jurnal Komunikan

Komunikan Journal is a scholarly publication focused on research in the fields of communication and da'wah (Islamic preaching). Articles published in Komunikan are expected to critically examine the diversity and complexity of issues related to Islamic communication and da'wah, with a strong emphasis on theory-based approaches, the development of new theoretical models, and the advancement of innovative methods to observe and measure the realities of communication and da'wah. The main topics covered by Komunikan include Islamic communication studies, marketing communication, public communication, mass communication, da'wah methodology, Islamic da'wah strategies, and the interrelation between da'wah and socio-cultural dynamics.

Komunikan Journal is published by the Department of Islamic Communication and Broadcasting, Faculty of Da'wah, Tazkia University, Bogor. It is issued twice a year, in June and December.
