Reference Management

The Journal of Islamic Contemporary Accounting and Business (JICAB) requires all authors to maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency in their citation and references. To ensure seamless indexing in international database and to facilitate cross-referencing, authors are mandate to use a professional reference management tool such as Mendeley when preparing their manuscript. All submissions must strictly adhere to the APA (American Psychological Association) Style for both in-text citations and the final reference list. Authors must ensure that every source cited in the text is included in the reference list, and vice versa, maintaining a one-to-one correspondence between citation and entries.

JICAB emphasizes the use of primary and contemporary sources, particularly those published within the last 5 yo 10 years, to ensure the relevance of the research. The editorial board reserves the right to return manuscript that do not comply with these formatting standards or those that exhibit significant errors in reference metadata, as such inaccuracies undermine the scholarly credibility of the publication.
