Plagiarism Policy

The Journal of Islamic Contemporary Accounting and Business (JICAB) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and the prevention of any form of publication misconduct. All author must ensure that their submitted work is entirely original; if the authors have used the work and/or words of others, this must be appropriately cited or quoted. JICAB strictly prohibits all forms of plagiarism, including verbatim copying, improper paraphrasing, and self-plagiarism. By submitting a manuscript to the journal, authors attest that the work has not been published elsewhere and is not under consideration by any other publication.

To Uphold these ethical standards, every manuscript submitted to JICAB will undergo a rigorous screening process for originality using the Turnitin software before being sent for peer review. The journal sets a maximum similarity thresholds of 20% for any submission to be considered for further processing. Manuscript exceeding this limit, will be returned to the authors for revision or may face immediate rejection. JICAB reserves the right to taker further action, such as formal retraction or informing the author's institution, should plagiarism be discovered after the article been published
