Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of journal projects and the Outcome-
Based Education (OBE) approach, both partially and simultaneously, on the learning
resilience of students in the Tadris Social Studies Study Program at Tazkia Islamic
University. This research uses a quantitative approach with a causal associative design.
The study population involved 59 students from the class of 2021 who undertook a
journal-based final assignment, with a sampling technique using the saturated sampling
method. Data were collected through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed
using multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that journal projects do
not have a significant effect on students' learning resilience. In contrast, the OBE
approach has a significant positive effect on learning resilience. Simultaneously, the
journal project and the OBE approach together make a significant contribution to
enhancing students' ability to manage academic stress, maintain intrinsic motivation, and
adapt to learning changes. These findings underscore the importance of integrating the
OBE approach and journal projects as innovative learning strategies in shaping students'
learning resilience in an Islamic higher education environment.
